Kate graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she is currently a full professor in the Finance Department. Kate also serves as an assistant coach to Miami University’s nationally ranked trial team. Kate received her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton, specializing in trial litigation. She was named Best Attorney in 2008 by the Texas Young Lawyers Association, and was named one of Dayton’s Top 40 Under 40 Young Professionals in 2014 by the Dayton Business Journal.
